Life, Money and Gratitude # 53 Own it

Life happens, it doesn't matter if you choose it or not, it’s now yours.
There are things you choose to do and things that happen to you that are out of your control, either way you own it. You can say that it’s not fair and I don’t (or I do) deserve this or that. Or you can take complete ownership of everything, this is now on me, I can choose to grumble and complain or I can learn from it and put it to work for me.
Ownership is a word that is not taught or used enough. The main type of ownership that you have is how you process and deal with things. Once you own your thoughts, you are in charge, you dictate how you respond, not the other way around.
Many of you have heard this ad-nauseum but there is truth to it.
How many successful people seem to be able to glide through insults, setbacks, money problems, family issues etc.… Do you think maybe they have trained their minds to function like this? Could you do that? I believe you can.
Good habits, exercise, meditation and prayer are some of things that can help you, you just have to figure out what works for you. I pray and let it up to a higher power. It does wonders for fear and anxiety.
Side Note on ownership (of a different kind):
The Forbes 500 list of wealthiest people are all owners, literally.
Be an owner.
Until next time, God Bless and be well.
